26 weeks ago I made a change to my life-I decide to give up with fad diets and actually make an investment in myself and my health. That’s when I found Sean at Armstrong Fitness.
26 weeks ago I’d been on nearly every diet you can think of. Typically I’d make progress at first, probably because I was starving, but then,as soon as I’d actually try and live a normal life I’d find the diet just didn’t work and that’s when the weight would start to creep on again.
26 weeks ago I’d hardly ever stepped foot in a gym, I couldn’t squat, I couldn’t lift even the lightest kettle bell and I certainly couldn’t do a push-up. After my first gym session I quite honestly thought I was going to faint but I went back and it got easier and I got stronger.
Today I feel better than I’ve ever felt in my life-I’m the thinnest and lightest I’ve ever been, I can squat and deadlift things that are heavier than I am,and I can actually do a push-up!!
None of these things would have been possible if, 26 weeks ago, I hadn’t made the decision to sign up with Armstrong Fitness. I cannot say enough amazing things about Sean-his coaching is world class,he is so amazingly supportive and knowledgable and he truly cares about my progress as much as I do. …..he genuinely cares, not only about your nutrition and your progress in the gym but if you are enjoying yourself. There are definitely exercises that I didn’t enjoy and have banned which is not a problem because training is dynamic and tailored to you.
This has been one of the most fun and rewarding experiences. I appreciate that it is a big investment to make, but it is an investment in your health and your happiness and what you get back is so worth it. If you want someone to care about your progress as much as you do, who understands the science behind achieving your goals and most importantly of all gets results then you are in the right place. Before working with Sean, I suffered from pretty bad back pain and in three short months and three visits to America and back, I have managed to fix my lower back problems whilst making considerable changes in my body, mind and health.
I am now fitting into size 8 clothes and couldn’t be happier with my progress. Sean has helped me do this without taking away my love affair with chocolate. In total I have lost 9 inches from my waist and hips and I can’t speak highly enough of Sean for his expertise and friendship.
Last February I asked Sean to help me lose 3 inches from my waist in 3 months so that I would be able to fit into a bridesmaid dress, by late May I had lost a total of 7 inches from my waist and over 30 inches in total from all of my measurements.
Sean has re-educated me in the way I think about food and exercise. Sean has been excellent to work with, making tweaks when needed and answering hundreds of questions about simple things.
Overall, I am thrilled with the results, losing 40lbs so far. I am grateful that Sean has included me in the process, empowering me with the knowledge needed to make good and sustainable choices instead of merely dictating a strict and inflexible regime.
I’ve never been the biggest fan of exercise. But Sean completely tailored my plan to fit my likes and dislikes and as a result I managed to get lots stronger and leaner in the process. I can now do both chin ups and push ups! Thanks again Sean.Janine Gagliasso
