1. What made you start personal training at SAF?

I had reached the grand old age of 40. Was fat, grossly unfit, and had no real activity/hobby that was my own to enjoy…my last experience of structured exercise was in school PE class over 20 years ago. I saw an advert for the 30-day shape, and a knee-jerk reaction got me sending an enquiry message.

2. Can you describe how you were feeling physically and mentally before coming to SAF?

Physically I just felt terrible. Bloated and tired. Mentally I was stressed with life generally, and terrified of coming to the gym. I was scared of being rubbish and being the fattest and the most unfit person there.

3. What did you want to achieve with SAF?

To lose weight be more fit and be able to do a push-up.

4. What results have you seen whilst Personal Training with SAF?

I’ve lost two stone in weight, gained a lot of strength (when my old lady back and knee issues aren’t giving me problems – I can almost deadlift my bodyweight) and I can do real man style push-ups without assistance! I eat and sleep better, being able to cope better with stresses of life, and most of all – I’ve found something I totally LOVE doing.

5. Would you recommend SAF and why?

Absolutely!! At the risk of sounding like a cliché… SAF has changed my life. I wish I’d started sooner!
